Baby's Faves

Last week my little guy was sick and it was really hard to get his appetite up. Hubs and I spent the whole week with him, struggling to get him to eat. Now thanks goodness he is back to normal having his faves of salmon, avocado, bananas, watermelon, turkey, cheese and pears! But we found some really great snacks that worked great during that time. Summer Baby 2014

I love a new season. Especially now that our really long and cold and hard winter is over. I can start buying some new lighter and brighter things for baby for this summer. We have a few trips planned and a vacation to the Hamptons, so I needed to get baby's wardrobe ready.

Prince First Birthday Party

It's been a few months since my last post, so I will have to catch you up a bit but for now I wanted to talk about the planning and executing of my son's first birthday party. I wanted a prince theme and I think I went a bit too far. But if you know me, I can sure as hell throw a party. Before I was a momma, I still am was one bad ass event planner :) Etsy was for sure a key player in this party as well as a lot of googling, pinning and my imagination. However, I promised hubs that the second birthday would be a bit more low key. Um, yeah Ok :)

No party is complete without the birthday outfit. Light blue Burberry onesie, Seven for all mankind jeans and skull critter toms (Mom wore matching burberry top in black and Sevens as well)

First of many Firsts...

So my little hunnie is getting a tooth!! During the night, he has been taking it well. He still sleeps from 7:00 - 7:00. But during the day, he is not a happy camper. His naps are shorter, he eats less, wants to be held more and fusses the most! Doc says it may take weeks for this pearly white to break through. Is it too much to ask the tooth fairy to let it happen over night and very soon?! If I put a dollar under my pillow maybe then?

Latest Baby Update

Baby boy is 8.5 months now and so much has been going on. He started army crawling at 6 months, then real crawling at 7 and now he is standing up all over the place. He is eating more adventurous foods, he is developing his own personality and he is starting to remember people. He amazes me every day. I am so happy I have the luxury of staying home with him. Hard work, but best rewards.
